Behold, I Am Coming Soon — Are You Ready? (Revelation 22:12)

“Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.” — Revelation 22:12 (NIV)

Jesus Himself spoke these powerful words — not to frighten us, but to prepare us.

His return is not a story.
It is not a myth.
It is a promise.

And that promise is closer than many realize.

The Certainty of Christ’s Return

Throughout Scripture, God repeatedly reminds us that history is moving toward one glorious moment — the return of Jesus Christ.

Jesus didn’t say “I may come someday.”
He boldly declared, “I am coming soon.”

This tells us:

  • His coming is real
  • His coming is certain
  • His coming will be sudden

The same Savior who came in humility will return in glory.

“My Reward Is With Me” — What Does It Mean?

Jesus is not returning empty-handed.

He is coming with eternal rewards.

The Bible teaches that each person will be rewarded according to their relationship with Christ and obedience to His Word.

Those who trust in Him will receive:

  • Eternal life
  • Everlasting joy
  • A crown of righteousness

Those who reject Him will face eternal separation from God.

This is why the message of salvation is urgent.

Signs of the Times Are All Around Us

Our world is changing rapidly:

  • Wars and conflicts
  • Natural disasters
  • Moral decline
  • Fear and uncertainty

Jesus told us these would be signs of the end times (Matthew 24).

God is lovingly warning humanity — giving time to repent before Christ returns.

Are You Ready If Jesus Comes Today?

This is a personal question — and an eternal one.

If Jesus returned right now:

Would you be ready to meet Him?

Religion cannot save you.
Good works alone cannot save you.
Only a relationship with Jesus Christ can.

How to Prepare for the Coming of Christ

Repent of Your Sins

Turn away from sin and turn back to God.

Believe in Jesus Christ

Trust that He died for your sins and rose again.

Surrender Your Life to Him

Make Jesus the Lord of your life.

A Prayer of Salvation

If you desire to give your life to Jesus, pray sincerely:

Lord Jesus,
I confess that I am a sinner and I need Your forgiveness.
I believe You died for me and rose again.
Today I turn away from my sins and receive You as my Lord and Savior.
Come into my heart, cleanse me, and prepare me for Your coming.
I choose to follow You from today onward.
Amen.

Final Thoughts

Jesus is coming — and He is coming soon.

Grace is available now.
Salvation is available now.
But time is not unlimited.

Today is the day of salvation.
